Chloe Houseman, Co-Chair

Chloe Houseman is a paper conservator at the Conservation Center for Art & Historic Artifacts, where she has worked since late 2018. She was previously employed as a project conservator at Harvard University's Weissman Preservation center, where she also interned. She has also completed internships at the National Archives and Records Administration and the Peebles Island Resource Center. She received her Masters of Art Conservation with a specialization in paper conservation from Queen's University, and her undergraduate degree in Art History with a minor in Studio Art from the University at Albany (SUNY). Her interests include researching the conservation of comic books, and playing with her two cats.
Since I moved to Philadelphia in 2018, the conservation community here has been nothing but kind and supportive. I had never previously visited and had no personal connections in the area at the time, so the events and networking opportunities offered by PACA were hugely helpful, and made this city feel like home in no time. I would be honored to give back by helping PACA continue to provide these services, and by supporting conservators who find themselves in a similar situation.
