The Philadelphia Area Conservation Association is a network of people dedicated to the conservation of cultural heritage. Our members include art conservators, preservation specialists, curators, librarians, archivists, and students at all levels. Most of our events take place in Philadelphia, Delaware, or New Jersey—and most of our members live in the region.
PACA offers four to eight conservation-related events to its members and their guests each year, and admission is always free to PACA members. Past events have included private gallery, garden, and cemetery tours; conservator-led project talks; tip sessions; film screenings; and conservation lab tours. Each year PACA hosts a general members' meeting in May and a fantastic holiday party in December. Thanks to the generosity of our members, previous attendees have had the chance to win free AIC meeting registrations or membership renewals.
